ABOUT PROJECT
Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is a Fortune 500 company and a leading provider of military shipbuilding and advanced defense technologies. I was part of the UI/UX redesign team for the HII website, where I focused on enhancing the user experience and visual presentation to better reflect the company’s prestige and technological expertise.
The homepage of HII (Huntington Ingalls Industries) is designed to effectively communicate the company's core competencies and services through a structured and visually engaging layout.
I designed an interactive timeline that allows users to explore significant milestones in HII's history. This feature enables users to navigate through different eras seamlessly, enhancing their understanding of the company's evolution.
I spearheaded the design of HII's employee portal, MyHII, which was launched in February 2024. This platform was designed to provide employees with access to relevant information from across the company, regardless of their location.
HII wanted to showcase its technologies in a more engaging and interactive way, which led to me designing a UI experience that allows users to explore the HII's technologies and capabilities through intuitive interactions and dynamic visuals.
I designed an interactive UI to showcase HII’s aircraft carriers, providing an immersive and visually engaging experience that highlights their engineering, history, and impact on naval defense during the Sea-Air-Space maritime expo in 2024
